Following their individual group-stage results, Cameroon, Morocco, and Algeria have all secured positions in the final eight. Cameroon’s 1-0 victory over Ghana on Sunday made them the first team to qualify.

Regardless of the result of their last group match against Cape Verde, the Indomitable Lionesses, who now lead Group D with six points after two games, have already secured a top-two finish.

After a goalless draw with Senegal in Rabat on Monday night, hosts Morocco also made it to the WAFCON quarterfinals.

With seven points, the Atlas Lionesses won Group A and advanced ahead of Algeria to the knockout stage.

Algeria defeated Kenya 2-0 to qualify from the group alongside Morocco.

The Algerians secured their spot in the last eight by finishing second in Group A with six points from three games.
