Days after she and the Udinese goalkeeper were spotted dining with pals in Venice, Italy, the Grammy-winning musician made the comments in a video posted on her Instagram Story on Monday.
Cardi B responded to the focus on her personal life by saying she feels like people are always observing her.
“No cap, I’m really hip hop’s Britney Spears,” Cardi B remarked, implying that she is constantly under heavy public scrutiny.
Although she is aware of many celebrities’ personal relationships and activities, she asserted that they hardly ever make headlines.
“I have all the tea on these famous people. I am aware of who is with whom and what is doing what. However, you know what? It goes unreported. Are you curious as to why? “Because no one is concerned,” she remarked.
The rapper bemoaned the fact that even seemingly unremarkable areas of her life are frequently discussed in public.
However, in my case… I can’t even accomplish anything without others discussing it. “This is absurd,” she remarked.
Cardi B claimed to have learned to accept the realities of living in the spotlight despite the continuous attention.
“You must accept both the positive and the negative. It is what it is. “People pay for this kind of talk,” she continued.
The remarks coincide with ongoing speculation that she and Okoye are romantically involved after they were seen dining together at the St. Regis Hotel in Venice’s Gio’s Restaurant.
They also went to the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show during Paris Fashion Week a few weeks prior, which added to the rumors that they were dating.
