This absence not only hindered his club career but also significantly affected his international engagements, ultimately costing him his position in Nigeria’s senior national team. Chippa United expressed their excitement and welcomed Nwabali back through their official social media platforms, stating, “Chippa United Football Club is delighted to welcome @nwabali32 back to the Chilli Boys.”

The club emphasized their satisfaction with his return, noting, “After taking time away, Stanley Nwabali returns to the Eastern Cape, and we are pleased to welcome him back to the club.” Nwabali first joined Chippa United from Katsina United in 2022, gaining recognition for his pivotal role in Nigeria’s journey to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. However, since then, his lack of a club has been detrimental, further impacting his status within the Super Eagles squad.
