Former Super Eagles star has urged to make the move to if eventually takes charge of the Spanish giants and asks for the striker.

Osimhen is wrapping up another impressive season with , playing a major role in their 26th league title triumph. The Nigerian forward has registered 15 goals and five assists in 22 league matches this campaign.

The striker has continued to attract attention in recent transfer windows, and reports from Spain suggest Mourinho’s possible return to Madrid could increase interest in signing him.

Mourinho, currently managing , is reportedly in discussions with Madrid over a potential comeback to the Santiago Bernabéu. The Portuguese tactician is viewed as someone capable of restoring order after a difficult season under Xabi Alonso and Álvaro Arbeloa.

With Madrid expected to strengthen their squad, Utaka believes Osimhen would fit perfectly into Mourinho’s plans.

“If Mourinho specifically wants him, then it shows how highly he rates him. Osimhen is hungry for trophies, and Real Madrid would be a great destination for him,” Utaka said via Naija Street Matters.

Mourinho has long been an admirer of Osimhen. During Osimhen’s time at , the pair faced off several times when Mourinho coached . The veteran coach has previously likened the Nigerian striker to Didier Drogba, although he has also criticised aspects of his game in the past.

Osimhen is also being linked with a possible move to ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Catalan side reportedly considering him as an alternative to Atlético Madrid star Julián Álvarez.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray are said to value the Nigerian striker at around €150m and are not eager to let him leave this summer.
