Mandy’s ascent started in 1986 when, at the age of sixteen, she became one of Nigeria’s most talented young people. She is the daughter of Chief Mrs. E.B. Ojugbana, a British mother, and Chief F.E. Ojugbana, a well-known merchant and aristocrat. Beyond her ancestry, Mandy’s mother surely had a significant influence on the development of her artistic identity. Chief Mrs. E.B. Ojugbana, who had a deep taste for music and storytelling, had an impact on Mandy’s voice, lyrical style, and writing sensibility.
