Military sources told Vanguard that Yarima was being followed by two unmarked Hilux vans without number plates and some unidentified guys dressed in black. He was allegedly trailed by the cars from the NIPCO Filling Station off the Line Motorway to Gado Nasco Way.

The source said that Yarima saw the individuals pursuing him and used a “strategic manoeuvre” to successfully elude the alleged attackers. The issue is being looked at and is being given “the seriousness it deserves,” the insider continued. Additionally, the source told the outlet that more information is being suppressed in order to protect the probe. This occurs just days after FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Lt. Yarima got into a heated argument over a contested land site in Gaduwa District while Yarima was on duty with other security officers.
