A horrific vehicle accident claimed the life of a University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) student who was traveling to Davido’s concert in Enugu.

Chrisantus Chukwuebuka Nwankwo, also referred to as DJ Brownlex around campus, was a 300-level Economics student.
The bus carrying Chukwuebuka and other students allegedly departed for the performance late on Saturday night, November 1, “without proper headlights” and collided with a parked trailer along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.

The driver and Chukwuebuka reportedly died instantly, while others suffered severe injuries.

A final-year student is suffering from a serious brain damage, while two 300-level pupils are unconscious.

Shanahan Hospital in Nsukka is currently treating the injured.
On Sunday, November 2, Chukwuebuka was laid to rest.

In a Facebook video, an elderly female relative is seen patting Chukwuebuka’s body in an open coffin while yelling his name.
