The premier event for up-and-coming talent, independent contractors, and seasoned digital industry experts is the Fair, which is set to take place in Lagos from August 6–8.

“This is more than a conference—it’s a movement,” stated Tutu Adetunmbi, Convener of the Digital Professional Fair, DPF, during the pre-event press briefing. From Lagos to the rest of the globe, we are constructing a bridge that connects potential and opportunity. The digital economy is the present, not the future. Additionally, Africa’s talent needs to be recognized, empowered, and given opportunities to shine.

As we speak, 3,000 people have signed up. We anticipate serving 1,500 people each day, and we hope to serve 10,000 people at this event both in person and virtually.

Adetunmibi went on to say: “The Digital Career Kickstart,” the Fair’s opening day, is designed for up-and-coming digital talent between the ages of 18 and 24. The critical demand for career guidance, core digital skills, industry certifications, and access to internship and employment opportunities is addressed by this track, which focuses on students, entry-level professionals, and aspiring digital creatives.

Freelancers and early-stage business owners between the ages of 25 and 30 are the focus of the second day. This section assists small business owners, freelancers, and solopreneurs in negotiating the challenges of the digital economy.

“Scaling & Global Expansion is the focus of the grand finale on day three, which is geared toward seasoned digital professionals and business owners who are at least 30 to 40 years old.”
