The agreement will be signed at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub on Airport Road in Benin at 10:00 a.m.

The chairman of INEC gave assurances that the commission would guarantee a reliable, impartial, and free poll, that all election-related money had been released to the Edo State office, and that his visit would enable INEC to do a test run of the materials that it had already received.

Yakubu was accompanied on the trips by Dr. Anugbum Onuoha, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of INEC in Edo, Prof. Rhoda Gamus, the National Commissioner of INEC overseeing the states of Edo, Delta, and Bayelsa, and Emmanuel Ogbodu, the Administrative Secretary of INEC in Edo.

“This is a readiness assessment visit to Edo State with the aim of visiting some of the local government areas,” stated the chairman of INEC. In order to evaluate the amount of preparation, the materials that have been received thus far, and the manner in which the election is being organized over the next eleven days, we have visited three.

“As funds are now available, there are no complaints. The state has received all of the monies, and the local government units have received the funds from the state.
