Investigations into the disappearance of a pregnant woman who was kidnapped en route to the state hospital in Ijaiye, in the Abeokuta region of the state, are currently continuing, according to the Ogun State Police Command.

The woman, named as Mrs. Ogunbunmi, was reported to have been kidnapped by several unidentified guys as she left her Oke Lantoro home to go to the hospital for a check-up. She was scheduled to give birth.
According to information obtained by City Round, Ogunbumni’s spouse Lateed received a message from the abductors confirming the kidnapping on his WhatsApp line.

It is unknown, though, if Ogunbunmi’s kidnappers made any requests for his release.

While verifying the event to our correspondent on Friday, State Police Public Relations Officer Omolola Odutola stated that the police are still looking into it.

“We are in the process. We continue to look into it,” she stated.
