Delivering judgment on Wednesday, the court found Mamman guilty on 12 different counts related to the case. Justice Omotosho ruled that the prison terms would run consecutively, leading to the combined 75-year sentence.

The judge also stated that the sentence would officially begin from the date the former minister is taken into custody.

In addition, the court ordered security agencies across the country to apprehend Mamman wherever he may be located.

The court further directed that all funds and assets already traced to the former minister be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.

Justice Omotosho also instructed Mamman to refund the remaining balance from the alleged N22 billion linked to the controversial Mambilla and Zungeru power projects.
