He shared the achievement on Saturday through his Instagram page, expressing pride in reaching the milestone.

“Today, I am honoured to have been awarded a BSc in Peace and Conflict Resolution. It’s officially done,” he wrote.

Amusan, who is also the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, attributed his success to divine grace.

“All glory be to God. Thank You, Lord, for a successful convocation,” he added, while also appreciating the people who supported him throughout the journey.

“I deeply appreciate my family, friends, and everyone who stood by me with their love and encouragement.”

The comic star began his studies at NOUN in 2017, returning to academics after over two decades. Earlier in life, he couldn’t attend university after secondary school due to financial challenges.

Originally from Gbongan in Osun State, Amusan started acting in 1988 and transitioned into comedy in 1991. He got the nickname “Mr Latin” after speaking French on a movie set in the 1992 film 50-50, which a producer mistakenly identified as Latin.
