In collaboration with MSport, the club’s official betting partner in Africa, the Premier League team announced on Thursday that the penultimate event of the 2025–2026 schedule will take place in the Nigerian metropolis.

Victor Moses, a former forward for Chelsea and the Super Eagles, will be the event’s main attraction. He will engage with supporters through a number of events intended to honor the club’s international fan base.

“This May, when our fan engagement program The Famous CFC hosts its penultimate event of the 2025/26 season, Chelsea Football Club will be visiting Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time in the club’s history,” the club said in a statement. A watch party organized by MSport, a Q&A session with Moses, and chances for fans to win autographed items are just a few of the events planned for the Lagos version.

The statement went on, “The Famous CFC in Lagos will bring a packed weekend of action to the city, where MSport will host an ever-popular watch party along with exclusive activities like a Q&A with Moses and the chance for fans to win signed merchandise.”

The event is the fifth stop in Chelsea’s international fan program this season, which has been extended to more host cities in an effort to deepen their relationship with fans throughout the globe.
The club stated, “The trip to Nigeria is the fifth stop this season for the international fan program, which looks to deepen connections with Blues supporters around the world.”

Before retiring from international football in 2018, Moses represented Nigeria at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Moses is still well-liked by Chelsea supporters, having been instrumental in the team’s 2016–17 Premier League championship campaign.

As the season draws to a close, the visit is anticipated to unite Chelsea’s Nigerian followers. The club has described the Lagos stop as a chance to bring supporters together via direct interaction and shared experiences.
