At its National Convention, which took place at Eagle Square in Abuja on Friday, the All Progressives Congress chose a new group of national officers.
At the APC’s 4th Elective National Convention, which took place on Friday night at Eagle Square in Abuja, Surajudeen Basiru was elected National Secretary and Professor Nentawe Yilwatda was reinstated as National Chairman.
The Convention Election Committee declared their appearance as one of several party officials chosen by consensus.

Top members of the ruling party, including Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and President Bola Tinubu, attended the convention.
Additionally, it attracted delegates and party officials from all around the nation who came to choose the new members of the National Working Committee who would be in charge of the ruling party’s operations.
