Fast-rising content creator Jarvis has revealed plans to transition from digital entertainment into the world of filmmaking, expressing her passion for building a legacy beyond social media.
In a candid interview with Channels Television, Jarvis opened up about her long-term goals, emphasizing that content creation, while successful, is only a stepping stone. “I actually see this as a side hustle,” she said. “I just want to be a businesswoman who is very rich and lives comfortably with my family, my husband, and children. That’s what matters.”
Jarvis, known for her hyper-realistic Non-Player Character (NPC) impersonations and creative skits, shared that her true ambition lies in Nollywood. She plans to break into the film industry and create a platform that supports young, aspiring creatives.
“Movie-making. My eyes are on it,” she declared. “I literally want to have a platform for other young people to showcase their talents because it wasn’t easy for me. I had to create my own platform myself.”
The digital sensation also discussed the challenges of carving out her niche in the highly competitive content creation space. “My niche is very difficult because you don’t want to keep repeating the same thing. Humans are insatiable… You need to come up with new ideas and concepts,” she said.
After taking a short break to regroup with her team, Jarvis made a strong return by introducing a new NPC-inspired character — drawing from global trends and tailoring the concept for Nigerian audiences. “I saw them doing this NPC on live stream and here in Nigeria, nobody was doing that. I already had this cartoon character in me,” she explained. “We had to re-strategise and bring something fresh. It’s not actually easy.”
Despite early skepticism from her family, Jarvis said their opinion shifted as her popularity soared. “They saw that what I was doing was nice… You know African parents, they like when they’re being hyped,” she added with a laugh.
With her sights set firmly on Nollywood and a desire to uplift others through storytelling and business, Jarvis is proving that her journey is only just beginning.
