President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has honored the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, for his significant contributions to Tinubu’s 2023 presidential election success.

At the 8th Day Friday Prayer for Oba Adetona in Ijebu-Ode, Tinubu expressed gratitude for the late monarch’s support, describing him as a steadfast supporter and towering figure in Yoruba history.

Tinubu highlighted Oba Adetona’s role in promoting national unity and progress, particularly during times of crisis.

The event was attended by Governors Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun – MFR Ogun state Governor, Governor Abiodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), and Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), as well as deputy governors, former governors, National Assembly members, and traditional rulers.
