A mansion in Ada George, Ohio/Akpor Local Government Area, owned by Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former governor of the state, was besieged by protestors.

More than fifty demonstrators targeted the mansion.

The throng sang the traditional national anthem, “Arise, O Compatriots,” as they marched from Agip Junction and congregated in front of Wike’s home.
To keep the demonstrators at a distance and stop them from getting close to the mansion, armed police officers set up a barrier.
An armored personnel carrier stationed nearby prevented the demonstrators from approaching the property.

Following roughly forty-nine minutes, the demonstrators broke apart and resumed their march.

They also created a commotion when they went by Wike’s Hyper City Mall and encountered a significant police presence.

Grace Iringe-Koko, a spokesman for the state police command, affirmed that Wike’s property was not harmed.

“The protesters just marched past the building,” she said. The cops made sure they stayed on the opposite side of the street and avoided making contact with them.
