The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Adamawa, Alhaji Tahir Shehu, claims that by being acknowledged as the state's best governor for infrastructure development, Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri has raised the party's prominence.

Shehu stated that this was Fintiri’s second time being named the best governor, during a luncheon held in Yola on Sunday in honor of the governor of Adamawa.
As the state’s Party Chairman, he claimed that Fintiri had made him proud.

He said, “President Bola Tinubu has also recognized and honored you for the second time. Former President Muhammadu Buhari recognized and honored you as the best for infrastructural development.”

Shehu pledged his unwavering support to help the governor do more for the advancement of both the state and the nation as a whole. On behalf of the women of Adamawa, Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta congratulated Fintiri.

She praised Fintiri for leaving a legacy that will allow women to be chosen as vice chairpersons in the state’s upcoming council elections.

The governor was likewise complimented by Dr. Auwal Tukur, Secretary to the State Government, on receiving the just reward. He gave the governor his word that he would continue to support the current administration’s policies and programs in their successful execution.

In response, Fintiri expressed gratitude to the people of the state for joining him in celebrating and vowed to keep working hard to draw in investors for further growth.

He claims that the state’s citizens’ collaboration and support led to the national award granted by a federal opposition party. He continued by saying that the prize was given in recognition of his achievements in enacting reforms and bolstering institutions, and that it had also drawn $125 million in investment into the state.
