Tommy Etim, the National Deputy President of the Trade Union Congress, criticised federal government efforts on Thursday to use the courts to prevent Organised Labour from beginning an indefinite nationwide strike on Tuesday.

Etim said that labour leaders will resist any pressure from the administration and that they were willing to go to jail to further the cause of better working conditions for Nigerians.
