A Provisional Suspension is a temporary suspension for an athlete before a final decision is made under the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules or Integrity Code of Conduct. This list includes current Suspensions, some still under investigation, and some pending first instance cases. In doping cases, a Provisional Suspension is mandatory.
