The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) began sitting amidst tight security on Monday to hear petitions filed against the victory of Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress, APC in the February 25 presidential election.

The PEPC on Monday said it will begin its activies with a pre-hearing session of three of the petitions filed before it.

Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi of Labour Party, LP, and the candidates of Action Alliance, AA, and Action Peoples Party, APP are challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu of APC as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
