Before joining Juventus on a free transfer in 2013, Llorente enjoyed eight fruitful years in the first squad while rising through the ranks at Athletic Bilbao.

He won two Serie A championships, the Coppa Italia, and advanced to the Champions League final in his two seasons with the Old Lady.

He left Torino for Sevilla in 2015, where he won the Europa League, then Swansea in 2016, where he scored 15 goals to keep the Welsh team from being relegated.

Llorente joined Tottenham in 2017 and served primarily as Harry Kane’s backup.

But his contentious goal in the thrilling Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester City in 2019 will live on in North London forever.

Llorente scored the game-winning goal from a corner kick as Tottenham advanced on away goals following a 4-4 aggregate draw to the final, where he earned his second runner-up medal.

The Spaniard departed Spurs at the conclusion of that campaign and briefly played for Napoli and Udinese in Italy before joining Eibar in his native country.
