The World Health Organisation report shows that children and youths in Africa use benzodiazepines, including cannabis, and 3.7 per cent inject drugs. A young Nigerian, Omotayo Olajide, was stabbed multiple times by teenage boys in June 2023, allegedly using alcohol and Indian hemp.
