Omo-Agege’s petition was dismissed by the tribunal for lack of merit.

In its decision, the three-member tribunal panel chaired by Justice C.H. Ahuchaogu confirmed Oborevwori as the winner of the state’s governor election on March 18, 2023.
The panel ruled that the petitioners had failed to establish beyond a reasonable doubt charges of Electoral Act violations and corrupt activities.
