Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, has arrived at the Lagos Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which is being held today, September 25, 2023, in the Rosaline Omotoso Courthouse in Ikeja. Hamzat appeared at the court about 9.20 a.m., accompanied by some aides, under significant security presence.

The tribunal has commenced to provide decision in the petition filed by the Labour Party’s candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and his Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Azeez Olajide, commonly known as Jandor, against his election and governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
