The former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, is alleged to have owned the DATKEM Plaza in Ijebu Ode, which the Ogun State Government said had partially torn down as part of proactive steps.

The plaza was described by the government as an illegal structure without a valid plan and as violating the state’s physical planning laws.
