Due to Sa’adatu Yaro’s absence, the second defendant in the case, the case initially came to a standstill on August 17. She allegedly became unwell and was unable to attend court.

The case was postponed until August 23 so that the accused may be arraigned, according to Justice Hamza Muazu, the presiding judge.

However, the case was not included in the Court’s case list.

But no explanation was provided to media as to why it wasn’t included.

Additionally, neither party’s attorneys were present in court.
