Nyesom Wike, the recently-resigned governor of Rivers State, has been given the go-ahead by the Senate to serve as a minister on Monday.
After listing his accomplishments and curriculum vitae, Wike said that his love for Nigeria drove him to accept the ministerial offer.
In response to a question, he stated, “I accepted the offer to serve as a ministerial nomination because of my passion to serve Nigeria.”
