During the visit, Adeleke, who was re-elected in the August 15 governorship election, was photographed with Wike, both of whom were holding the governor’s Certificate of Return.

Lere Olayinka, Wike’s media assistant, posted the image to X with the caption, “Governor Ademola Adeleke visits the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.”

The meeting came after Adeleke had previously visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he had given him his Certificate of Return.

With 511,067 votes, Adeleke defeated All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who received 444,815 votes, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

In 19 of Osun State’s 30 local government districts, Adeleke prevailed.
