Ndika, a longstanding talent manager in Nigeria’s entertainment sector and CEO of NaijaReview, died on May 19 at the age of 44.

Niniola described her late lover as her “everything” at the somber event, defying her custom of keeping to herself. The singer revealed personal information about their journey, describing how Ndika was the “engine” of her success as a musician and did everything in his ability to secure her happiness and professional advancement.

“Michael did everything for me. When he met me, he said I will make you a superstar, and he did,” an emotional Niniola shared with attendees.

Today, June 5, Ndika will be laid to rest after the Service of Songs.
