The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced that Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, will be one of the performers at the Los Angeles leg of the World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series. Scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, the concert will also feature Major Lazer, led by Diplo, with more artists anticipated to join the lineup.

This concert is part of a groundbreaking synchronized live concert series designed to build excitement for the upcoming World Cup, which will see host countries Canada, Mexico, and the United States come together for a series of events. FIFA’s statement emphasizes that the Los Angeles concert will be a high-energy celebration of music, football, and culture, exemplifying the spirit of the tournament.

Taking place at the Crypto.com Arena, the event will have doors opening at 5:00 p.m. PT and is set to start broadcasting live at 6:00 p.m. PT. Furthermore, the concert aims to create a cross-border connection, with performances also streamed live from Mexico City and Toronto, further enriching the collaborative spirit of the event.

He highlighted that just two days prior to the opening match in the United States, the Los Angeles concert will feature top talent, providing a global celebration that merges music, football, and community engagement.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale beginning Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST. Additionally, the concert will be globally broadcasted through FIFA’s digital platforms, including an exclusive livestream on their TikTok account. Fans can also look forward to available content on FIFA’s video-on-demand platform, VuMe Live, the following day, including concert highlights and behind-the-scenes footage.
