Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has denied rumors that he has joined the National Democratic Congress, maintaining that he is still a member of the All Progressive Congress.

In an interview with reporters on Wednesday in the state capital of Port Harcourt, Fubara stated that the rumors were founded on false information that was making the rounds on social media and in the media.

“I am aware that there have been numerous dramatic stories in the media. Nothing has changed since I joined the All Progressive Congress,” he remarked.

He cautioned against misrepresentation based on conjecture and advised the general public and commentators to confirm material before disseminating it.

“People should stop presenting me in an inaccurate way by using any scenario they find on social media or their own interpretation of any situation,” he stated.

“I have not gone anywhere,” he continued, reiterating his commitment to his party. I continue to be a member of the All Progressive Congress.

Fubara noted that political interests should be directed by group objectives and emphasized the importance of unity and focus inside the party.
