Osimhen delivered a brilliant display by scoring twice in the crucial match that secured the league trophy for the Turkish champions, further strengthening his reputation as one of Nigeria’s biggest football talents abroad.

Reacting through a statement posted on his X account on Monday, Obi commended the Super Eagles striker for his determination, discipline and exceptional talent.

The former Anambra State governor said he was delighted to join millions of football fans in celebrating Osimhen for helping Galatasaray emerge champions with his match-winning performance.

Obi noted that the striker’s journey and achievements continue to motivate many young Nigerians to remain committed to hard work, excellence and perseverance.

According to him, Osimhen has consistently represented Nigeria positively on the international stage through both his performances and conduct.
