In addition to breaking the world record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice in September 2025, Baci announced on Instagram on Tuesday that her efforts had also earned her the title of largest serving of rice overall. She updated her bio to read “Chef X3 Guinness World Record Holder.”

Through an email from Andrew Fanning, Head of Client Partnering – Records Creative Team, the Guinness World Records team notified Baci that her effort at the “Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice” had concurrently broken another record.
“Congratulations, you are once again officially amazing! When we compared the record requirements for the two record titles, we noticed that when you and your team tried to earn the record title of “Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice,” you also achieved the record title of “Largest serving of rice,” Fanning wrote.

Baci expressed her shock and excitement at the announcement.

I was going about my daily business this morning, idly going through my emails, when I noticed the message. I was taken entirely by surprise and felt both thrilled and shocked at the same moment. I was only learning that there was more five months after the first record announcement,” she remarked.

She clarified that in a single day, what she had thought to be a single record had become two. “I thought it was over when @ginonaija and I broke the Guinness World Record for the biggest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.”

We also beat the record for the largest serving of rice that day, which I was unaware of until now. What I had believed to be one record actually turned out to be two. And officially, that brings the total number of Guinness World Records to three,” Baci continued.

Her most recent accomplishment comes after she cooked 8,780 kilos (19,356 pounds) of Nigerian-style jollof rice during a barbecue in Lagos in September 2025, setting a record for the largest serving of the dish ever made globally.

More than two years after she first set a record in May 2023 for finishing a 93-hour, 11-minute cooking marathon, she became the first chef in Nigeria to hold multiple Guinness World Records with this accomplishment.

Baci gave credit to her team, especially @oreoluwa_atinmo, for the record, saying that their cooperation was essential to its success.

“This trip, this vision, and this record would not have been possible without @oreoluwa_atinmo, so she was the first person I phoned. Together, we completed this task. From concept to implementation, complete alignment, side by side. Everything felt genuine as she shared that moment with her, she remarked.

She also gave thanks to God for directing her path and bestowing unanticipated rewards.

To be honest, God is dependable. The kind of loyalty that still takes you by surprise. This seems like such a lovely reminder that God may still say, “There’s more,” even after you believe you have seen the whole image. “What a blessing, and what a way to start the new year,” she continued.

In closing, Baci thanked her team, supporters, and Guinness World Records for making the accomplishment possible.

“This is OUR victory, my amazing team. Every push, every detail, every exhausting day counted. Thank you to Guinness World Records for recognizing and honoring this accomplishment.

“And my heart is so full to everyone who stood with us, believed in us, and supported us. I’m still processing. I am still appreciative. “I’m still amazed,” she remarked.

Baci’s status as one of Nigeria’s most renowned chefs is cemented by the most recent honor, which also highlights the ambition and scope of Nigerian cuisine on the international scene.
