Actress Regina Daniels is speaking out after the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, publicly suggested she “needs help,” adding a new layer of tension to her already turbulent split from her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Rollas made the comment in a lengthy Instagram post urging Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, to focus on her daughter’s wellbeing instead of running for the AGN presidency. He also scolded senior Nollywood figures for keeping quiet as the couple’s marital issues spill across social media. “Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help,” he wrote. “Your silence is unfair.”
Regina did not hold back in her response. In a post shared to her Instagram story, she questioned Rollas’ judgment: “Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir, to say I need help?”
She went further, accusing the AGN president of mismanaging funds and behaving inappropriately. “You are a disgrace of a president who just goes from office to office enriching your pocket under the guise of caring for actors,” she said. Regina also claimed he had brought women to her family home “to take swimming lessons,” suggesting this personal friction fueled his comments.
The exchange comes at a sensitive time. Days earlier, Regina appeared in a viral video accusing Senator Nwoko of domestic violence. Nwoko has denied the claims, countering with allegations that Regina struggles with drug abuse, a claim that has intensified public debate but remains unverified.
So far, no independent evidence has emerged to support accusations from either side, and neither Regina nor the senator has released additional statements.
