Since joining Club Brugge three years ago from Danish Superliga team Midtjylland, Onyedika has left her mark.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder has adapted to Club Brugge with ease and established himself as a mainstay under the club’s several coaches.

He has been linked to some of the best clubs outside of Belgium because of his performances. The Super Eagles player was linked to AC Milan last year, and until they signed Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana, it appeared that the trade would go through.

The Super Eagles player has been strongly associated with West Ham this summer. Although there have been rumors since the transfer market began, nothing significant has occurred as of yet.

West Ham has been considering their possibilities as coach Graham Potter looks for a reliable defensive midfield player.

Sacha Tavolieri claims that Onyedika is now no longer on the Hammers’ list of targets. The team is reportedly quite interested in DR Congo midfielder Mukau, according to the transfer market specialist.

Since joining Lille last year, the 20-year-old defensive midfielder has shown great promise.

He is very strong with the ball, has excellent ball control, and is highly active on the field. West Ham can afford the €20 million asking price for Mukau.

West Ham will be hoping that Mukau does well for them, as Lille has produced some good midfield players over the years, such as Amadou Onana, Renato Sanches, Idrissa Gueye, and Yves Bissouma.

Although Raphael Onyedika isn’t a top priority right now, West Ham still has him in their eyes despite their interest in Ngal’ayel Mukau.

Given their comparable profiles, they might attempt to sign Onyedika if they are unable to sign Mukau.

In the meantime, the Super Eagles player regularly plays for Club Brugge. He will try to have a successful season with the Blauw-Zwart and assist the team in reclaiming the Belgian Jupiler Pro League title, even if he does not get the big move to West Ham.
