After Osimhen spent the previous season on loan at Istanbul, where he made 41 appearances and scored 37 goals and gave eight assists, the negotiations continued all summer. Even if Napoli is finally approaching a complete agreement, they are not willing to wait indefinitely to complete this.

Their patience is becoming thin, so we can disclose that they have given Galatasaray till Monday to complete all the required papers. They believe this will be enough time.

Now that the most challenging concerns have been resolved, the total cost will be €40 million up front, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in installments by June 2026.

Most importantly, Galatasaray agreed to include a clause requiring them to pay a hefty charge in the event that Osimhen is sold to another Serie A team in the next two years.

Napoli will not hold onto the last bone of contention, a portion of the sell-on money, since they understand that it is not the most crucial aspect of this agreement.

Getting this over the finish line is in everyone’s best interests, but especially Osimhen.
