The mobile police officer has been discovered dead. He was kidnapped in the Kampani hamlet in the Bashar District of the Wase local government area in Plateau State.

The policeman was attacked and taken away as he was allegedly combating robbers in the region as part of a security unit.
Another member of the crew, a soldier, escaped the assault.
The policeman’s kidnapping and eventual murder is the most recent in a string of robberies in the Wase local government area.

As of the time this report was filed, the police command had not responded to the development.
