The legislator is buried in Temidire Estate, Tipper Garage, Ologuneru, Ibadan.
Following a brief illness, he passed away in Abuja on Wednesday morning.
Akinremi is a politician for the All Progressives Congress (APC) who was elected in 2019 and then again in 2023.

Before his death, the 51-year-old was serving as the federal constituency representative for Ibadan North for a second term.
