Working with Mourinho makes Osayi-Samuel pleased.

Signing a two-year contract with a three-year option, Mourinho made his way back to the dugout for his tenth managerial position. Now, he wants to help Fenerbahce, who completed last season with just three points less than Turkish Super Lig winners Galatasaray and only one loss, to victory. After joining the Turkish team in 2021, Osayi-Samuel has grown to be a valuable member of the group. The defender has played in 140 games since joining the team, contributing 13 assists and seven goals. During his three years with the club, the 26-year-old has worked under seven different coaches: João de Deus, Jorge Jesus, İsmail Kartal, Zeki Murat Göle, Vítor Pereira, Emre Belözoğlu, and Erol Bulut. But he is excited to work with Mourinho, who is thought to be the most successful and seasoned tactician Fenerbahce has ever used. "Mourinho is a very nice guy but also scary." Fanatik said that Osayi-Samuel stated, "It is a great honor to work with him." "I'm curious to know the athletes' backgrounds. He gives players confidence in themselves. Working with him this year will hopefully teach me a lot. Last week, Mourinho made his Fenerbahce debut as a competitive manager by starting the Nigerian player for 69 minutes against Lugano. Mourinho was previously coach of Chelsea.
