During an appearance on TVC Entertainment, Okocha emphasized that he wore a mouth guard throughout the fight, making Portable’s accusations implausible. The confrontation took place on a Friday night, where Okocha emerged victorious after Portable was disqualified for violating contest rules by resorting to punches instead of the allowed wrestling techniques.

Following the match, Portable alleged that Okocha bit him on the back and tussled with his neck, questioning the rationale behind Okocha’s participation in the boxing event. Okocha dismissed these claims, asserting, “Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying.” He further added a humorous caveat, stating, “I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that.”

Okocha’s comments came in the wake of the high-profile rematch that garnered significant media attention, especially following their previous encounter. He suggested that Portable should accept the match’s outcome rather than perpetuate narratives of misconduct in the ring.
