The first African woman to score in three World Cups is Asisat Oshoala. She scored as Nigeria defeated South Korea 2-0 at the 2019 World Cup, defeated Australia 1-0 in the 2023 World Cup, and scored against Sweden as Nigeria tied 3-3 with the Europeans in the 2015 World Cup.
